India's population has exploded. It's worrying!: Rediff.com News

IS IT REALLY WORRYING??

115 crore people means 230 crore hands and legs, 115 crore different brains. Our population is our greatest resource. But only If our government and private sectors use this resource as much as possible, otherwise its really worrying.

By saying this i Don't mean that we must not develop modern technology or we must not go towards automation. We must definitely develop world class technologies but I just say that we must not use it to show that we have it. We must develop technologies for our satisfaction that we are in no way behind.

But using automation in every field is good for those who don't have manpower to work. We must rather develop new ways to use man power like for Elevators, Lifting machines, pumps, cranes. Sounds bit stupid but if we want to we can definitely and this is the best way we can help our country to revive from poor to a rich nation. Its the people that constitute the concept called country. If all people will have jobs there will be no poverty no unemployment. This will also ensure efficient usage of our greatest and abundant resource and will also reduce energy consumption. We can save this energy or in other words conserve it and save our fast exhausting non-renewable resources.

The need is just to manage and plan out things properly. All these can make our country prosperous.

Sometimes i think dictatorship was better. Atleast we knew it is dictatorship..

It is a common thought that rulers did not think about people and just enjoyed their luxurious lives. There have been many kings who have worked for the welfare for their country and people .

Problems arose when the system became hereditary. When the successors started to be chosen on basis of birth and not according to elligibility.

The system with which we started was good but later on the interpretation has made it look bad.

Similarly the interpretation of democracy has changed. The interpretation of representatives has changed. Representatives no more represent the common man. They are special. They are above common man and not one among them. Then how can they represent? They just represent their needs and their desires . Not common man's.

Well, but is it worth to condemn them for this situation. A person is solely responsible for whatever happens with him. We are responsible for this situation. We have mis-interpreted the system and we hav let our representatives not represent us. Because, we have been silent viewers. We have become more like animals who cannot speak, who have no conception, who can do nothing except adopting themselves to whatever happens..
